A new Story

In loving memory of Johnny Gonsales who sadly passed away on 6th February 2012 leaving behind not only his Wife, children and extended famliy but a community that loved him also and that community rallied round to help him out when he needed it most by donating money and various activities to raise money for his much needed Wet Floor Room. He was a very young 63 years old who lived life to the full with an amazing sense of humour and a helping hand for anyone. He touched the hearts of everyone who met him and he was a one in a million man. He loved doing the Cystic Fibrosis charity cycle but sadly couldn't do it anymore due to his illness Motor Nuerones Disease which he was diagnosed with in june 2011 after a year of trying to find out what was wrong. Feel free to leave your mark in memory of my Dad if you so wish in whatever way you see fit. A memory you have of him etc. Thank you, my Dad would be proud. Not, how did he die, but how did he live? Not, what did he gain, but what did he give? These are the units to measure the worth Of a man as a man, regardless of his birth. Nor what was his church, nor what was his creed? But had he befriended those really in need? Was he ever ready, with words of good cheer, To bring back a smile, to banish a tear? Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say, But how many were sorry when he passed away?
